Common uses 
Terconazole is an antifungal agent used to treat vaginal yeast infections.

Before using
INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

Directions
Follow the directions for using Terconazole provided by your doctor. Wash your hands immediately after using this medicine. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. TO CLEAR UP YOUR INFECTION COMPLETELY, continue using this medicine for the full course of treatment. Do not miss any doses.

Cautions
IF YOUR SYMPTOMS DO NOT IMPROVE within a few days or if they become worse, check with your doctor. IF YOUR INFECTION CLEARS UP and occurs again in a few weeks, see your doctor. IF YOU HAVE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE DURING TREATMENT, you may increase the risk of reinfection. THIS MEDICINE MAY ALSO DECREASE THE EFFECTIVENESS of condoms and diaphragms. CONTINUE USING THIS MEDICINE even during your menstrual period. USE A SANITARY PAD rather than a tampon to prevent staining of clothing. IF YOU ARE OR MAY BE PREGNANT, check with your doctor before using this medicine. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.

Possible side effects
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include burning or itching in or around the vagina not present before using this medicine. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

If you take too much
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
